Christmas Time!

It's that time of year again when the novelty christmas jumpers start appearing, and once something that was seen as an embarrassment is now a fashion statement that a lot of people are embracing! But gone are the days where you would only find these festive joys in vintage and thrift stores, or hidden at the back of a charity shop rail. As with everything now days, the high street has reproduced these yule tide designs and come december you can't get away from them.
I am personally a huge fan of the christmas jumper, and thought there was nothing better to write about coming up to xmas than a good old festive knit.
Here are a few that I found to get you started on your search for the perfect Christmas Jumper.

Knitted Reindeer Jumper £50 by Topshop.

Knitted Xmas Snowman Jumper £50 by Topshop.

Knitted Penguin Jumper £50 by Topshop.

Red Christmas Jumper £50 by Topshop.

As usual Topshop are pretty hot on the Christmas jumper trend, even having a 'novelty' section on their website dedicated to them. At £50 a piece they are a little pricey for what they are, but who wouldn't want a little penguin in a santa hat on the front of their jumper?! They're adorable!
The red jumper I like a lot, it's simple motif and classic old look is what should be in a traditional Christmas jumper.

I will leave you with some other Christmassy treats that'll leave you 'Rockin around the Christmas Tree' ;)

Dear Santa,

HAPPY 1ST DECEMBER EVERYONE!

While it's still snowing outside for the 2nd day non stop, I'm desperately hoping that uni is closed tomorrow. Mainly because I've got total brain block today and can't find any way of getting this essay finished.
So, in the mean time I thought I'd post a few bits that I have found and am hoping santa will bring me in 25 days exactly! :)

Topshop, Faux Sheepskin Backpack, £45.
I've had my eye on this little beauty for a few months now. It has that perfect winter feel with the faux sheepskin but still extremely stylish at the same time. I have started to wonder whether it would be any good in this snowy weather though, as faux furs usually just absorb water, which wouldn't be convenient when I was planning on using it to carry my laptop...

Urban Outfitters, Suede Chelsea Wedge, £85.
You would not believe how long I have been searching for a pair of black wedges for. I had an exact idea of how I wanted them to look and genuinely thought that I was going to have to give up my search, until I found these little beauties! I am a huge fan of chelsea boots, so the subtle detailing on these wedges is perfect, also they're suede which although could mean them getting dirty alot quicker than usual makes them look even more amazing for that snug winter look. I went into Urban Outfitters recently to try them on to make sure they fitted ok (just incase anyone was to get them for me for xmas) and they looked and felt amazing, I'm probably the first person to say I am not a big fan of heels at all, but they were so comfortable! A definite christmas must have.

American Apparel, Sleeveless Lawn Button-Up, £36.
Sweet and Simple. I love how this shirt has the length but isn't too frumpy on the top which you can sometimes find with the 'oversized' look. Again, this is another piece I have been dreaming about for months. I really love this colour too, I'm not usually a fan of pink, but this candyfloss colour gives a nice warm pastel effect without it looking too summery. (Of course it would look great in the summer so long lasting!). It would look great tucked into jeans or having it tucked out with tights/leggings. I really like the slight transparency of it too which gives it a twist on a normal sleeveless shirt.

And lastly...

Urban Outfitters, Boy London Tee, £35.
This t-shirt I have been wanting for absolute forever! It was around a few years ago, but now Urban Outfitters have bought it out, along with a few variations of it. I have no idea where the design originated from, and not even a clear reason why I like it so much. But I think it's a definite must have in the new year when the sales are on and the loan comes through.

I've probably wrote more here than I have attempted to write on my essay today, although it has got me in a typing mood.
Peace Out x
